Latinx/Chicanx Academic Excellence Initiative
The Latinx/Chicanx Academic Excellence Initiative is designed to ensure our student population can succeed. With core values such as equity, success and student-centeredness, this initiative expands services that attract and support a diverse faculty, staff and student community on campus. The initiative will direct resources toward programs and activities that emphasize and elevate the Latinx experience for the whole campus.

The Jorge Rios Scholarship
The Jorge Rios Scholarship award supports UC San Diego Chicanx/Latinx Staff Association members for any training activity to develop their full professional potential and to prepare for advancement opportunities or career changes within the UC system.

Raza Resource Centro
The Raza Resource Centro offers activities, events and resources to connect students, staff, faculty and alumni. The Centro is open to everyone, and strives to emphasize and foster the access, retention and graduation of Latinx/Chicanx students as well as create strong connections with our surrounding community.

Madrinas and Padrinos Endowment Scholarship
Scholarship support awarded to continuing undergraduate students who provide outstanding service, scholarly activities, or contributions related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice for Chicanx/Latinx Commnunities.
