Support Veterans at UC San Diego
U.S. News & World Report ranks UC San Diego among the top 15 best colleges for veterans and active-duty service members pursuing their degrees, and we’re motivated to see our student veteran population grow. In honor of Veterans Day, we encourage you to support one of the key funds below that benefit our veteran community.
Your gift provides access to student support and success resources that will ensure our UC San Diego student veterans achieve their goals and continue their service to our country in new ways.
Student Veterans Resource Center
The Student Veterans Resource Center (SVRC) at UC San Diego supports military-connected students’ personal, academic and professional success. In collaboration with campus and community partners, we identify and mitigate barriers while creating and managing programs, services and initiatives for military-connected student success. Students are able to access in-center support for veteran benefits counseling, career advising, disability accommodations, mental health support, and peer-to-peer mentoring. The SVRC also collaborates with the Student Veteran Organization (SVO) and Veterans Staff Association (VSA) to coordinate campus-wide events and programs to increase military culture awareness among UC San Diego students, staff and faculty.
